Dial-Up Access - Windows XPConfigure Windows XP to access the TCU modem pool
- Select Control Panel from the Start Menu.
- Select Network and Internet Connections.
- Select Create a connection to the network at your workplace.
- The New Connection Wizard will begin. If prompted for your area code, enter 817.
- At the Network Connection window, choose Dial-up connection and click the Next button.
- Type TCU to name the connection and click the Next button.
- Enter the phone number: 817-257-7224 and click the Next button.
- Specify Connection Availability for Anyone’s use. Click the Next button.
- Check the box to Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop and click the Finish button.
- Configuration is complete. To connect to the TCU modem pool, double-click the TCU shortcut on the desktop and enter your username and password. Then click the Dial button.
