Symantec Endpoint Protection Custom ScanRun a Custom Scan in Symantec Endpoint Protection
- Log into your PC as local_admin
- Right click on Symantec shield on taskbar
- Left click on Open Symantec EndPoint Protection
- Click Scan for threats on the left menu bar

- Click Full Scan to scan the entire computer or click Active Scan to scan commonly infected locations and the scan will begin


When a virus is detected, Symantec Endpoint Protection attempts to complete the action designated: remove virus, quarantine the infected file, delete the infected file or leave the infected file alone.
