Setup E-mail ForwardingFollow the instructions below to redirect or forward e-mail sent to your TCU e-mail account, even those e-mails coming from list serves.
- Log into your Exchange Outlook Web Access 2007 TCU e-mail account with Internet Explorer using a Windows PC
- Click the Options link on top right side of window pane
- Select Rules from the left side navigation pane
- If the Compatibility with Outlook box appears, click Delete Disabled Rules button
- Select New Rule, then select Create New Rule for Arriving Messages

- Choose Forward or redirect... from the Do the Following section
- Select Redirect the message to people or distribution lists and put a check in the checkbox then click away from the box to get back to the New Rule box
- Select Move, Copy or Delete and put a check in the Delete the Message checkbox
Note: It is recommended that you redirect your e-mails. If you create a rule in Outlook Web Access to forward your e-mails to another account, all e-mails will appear to be from your e-mail account once they reach the final destination rather than from the original sender. By using Microsoft Outlook to create a redirect rule, each e-mail will be sent on and retain the original sender information. However, any other recipients that the e-mail was originally sent to, copied to, or blind-copied to will not be retained in the redirected e-mail.
- Click people or distribution lists link that is located in the middle of the dialog box within the text: Apply this rule after the message arrives...
- From the window called Address Book-- Webpage Dialog, enter the e-mail address that you want all your e-mails to be redirected to in the To line and click OK

- After verifying the Rule Description click Save on the New Rule dialog box
- Click Save
- Setup is now complete. The next e-mail you receive at your TCU account will be forwarded to your newly assigned e-mail account. A copy of that e-mail will also remain in your Deleted Folder.
Note: Through the use of the Outlook redirect or forward rules, e-mails will still remain in the Deleted folder. Therefore, it is necessary for you to access your e-mail periodically to remove all old e-mails to prevent your account from going over quota. If your account does go over quota, you will continue to receive any additional e-mails to your e-mail but you will not be able to send e-mails. To find your quota simply sit your mouse pointer over the first folder and a box will appear with your information.
