Configure Entourage 2004 for Macintosh

Configure Entourage Using the Exchange Server

  • From the menu, choose Entourage
  • Choose Account Settings

 

  • Click the Exchange button at the right side of the top menu bar
  • Click New to create a new account
  • Click the Configure account manually button

 

  • Under Account Settings, fill in the appropriate fields:
    • Account name
    • Name
    • E-mail Address
    • Account ID: enter your TCU account username
    • Domain: TCU
    • Password
    • Exchange server: http://outlook.tcu.edu

  • Click the Options button and choose Receive complete messages

  • Click the Advanced button and fill in the appropriate fields:
    • Public folders server: http://mail.tcu.edu
    • Check: This DAV service requires a secure connection
    • LDAP server: ldap.tcu.edu
    • Check: This server requires me to log on
    • Check: This LDAP server requires a secure connection (SSL)

  • If you need to add a delegate or you are a delegate for another user, click the Delegate button.  Then click the Advanced button and fill in the appropriate fields.

  • Click the Security button
    • Check: Include my certificate when sending signed messages
    • Check: Send clear text signed messages when sending signed messages
  • Click OK
