Configure Entourage 2008 for Macintosh

Configure Entourage 2008 Using the Exchange Server

  • From the menu, choose Entourage
  • Choose Account Settings
  • Double-click the Exchange Account listed to open the Edit Account window

     
     

    • If no Exchange account is listed, click the New button 
    • Click the Configure Account Manually button
    • Choose Account type: Exchange and click OK


  • Under Account Settings in the Edit Account window, fill in the appropriate fields:
    • Account name
    • Name
    • E-mail Address
    • Account ID: enter your TCU account username
    • Domain: TCU
    • Password
    • Check box for: Save password in my Mac OS keychain 
    • Exchange server: mobile.tcu.edu
    • Check box for: This DAV service requires a secure connection

  • Click the Advanced button and fill in the appropriate fields:
    • Public folders server: http://mail.tcu.edu
    • Check box for: This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL) 
    • LDAP server: ldap.tcu.edu
    • Check box for: This server requires me to log on
    • Check box for: This LDAP server requires a secure connection (SSL) 

 

  • If you need to add a delegate or you are a delegate for another user, click the Delegate button on the top menu bar.  Then use the Add button and fill in the appropriate fields.
  • Click OK to complete the setup.
