Connect to Network Share on a MacConnect to a Network Share from a Macintosh
Personal Space:
- To connect to your personal network share, choose Go from the menu, then choose Connect to Server.
- Enter homefile1.is.tcu.edu as the server address and click Connect.
(You can click on the + to add this server to your list of favorites so that you do not have to type it in every time.)

- Type in your username and password and click Connect.
- Select your personal network share and click OK.

- The share is now mounted and an icon shows up on your desktop. Dragging the icon to the trash will disconnect it.
Common Drives:
Common drives are located on two different servers: commonfile1.is.tcu.edu and commonfile3.is.tcu.edu
- From the Go menu choose Connect to Server.
- Enter commonfile1.is.tcu.edu or enter smb://commonfile3.is.tcu.edu as the server address and click Connect.
(You can click on the + to add this server to your list of favorites so that you do not have to type it in every time.)

- Type in your username and password and choose Connect.
- Select the appropriate drive from the listing and choose OK.
(You will only see the common drives listed that you actually have permission to use.)

- The share is now mounted and an icon shows up on your desktop. Dragging the icon to the trash will disconnect it.
