Getting Help with Your ResNet Connection

Student Computing Handbooks are available at the Computer help Desk.  Handbooks provide a step-by-step guide to setting up your ResNet connection, using your network storage space, accessing your TCU email account, changing your password and various other services.

ResNet Technicians

 

If Help Desk staff cannot successfully get students connected to ResNet or StuWireless via phone support, an appointment with a ResNet Technician will be arranged.  Students are limited to 2 hours or 2 ResNet appointments per semester.

 

 

Laptop Workshops

 

Workshops are held at the Computer Help Desk to assist students with installation of the TCU Antivirus software and setup of StuWireless connection.  Contact the Computer Help Desk for available times.

 

 

Outside Vendors

 

Students are requested to contact an outside source for computer repairs.

Retail Computer Vendors: Many retail stores in the Fort Worth provide repair services.

SOS Consultants: SOS is a listing of TCU students who will provide computer support for a fee. The students provide services such as tutoring, installation of network cards, network setup, hardware and software installation and other computer maintenance.  A listing of students for hire can be found here.
