Windows Mobile ActiveSync

Microsoft ActiveSync technology allows mobile devices such as SmartPhones and PDAs to communicate securely with e-mail systems to synchronize contacts, calendars, and e-mail.

Configuring ActiveSync

1. Open the ActiveSync screen and tap on “set up your device to sync with it”.
   
   
   
   
2. Enter “mobile.tcu.edu” for the Server address, and make sure that “This server requires an encrypted (SSL) connection.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter your login information, and tap next.
   
   
   
   
4. Choose which data you want to synchronize and tap finish.
   
   
   
   
5. The first time that you sync the device, you will receive a notification about security policies.  Tap OK to sync.
